Homemade make-ahead instant oatmeal is a total game-changer! You can customize the flavors and cut down on added salt and sugar. Prep these in bulk up to a month in advance so you always have a healthy option on hand! This Apple Cinnamon version is a great option during the fall months! 


Ingredients

1/2 cup
quick cooking oats (gluten-free)
1 tsp
ground flaxseed
1 tsp
ground chia seeds
1 tsp
coconut sugar
1/8 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 cup
chopped dried apple
2 tbsp
chopped walnuts
2 tbsp
raisins

Directions

Combine all of the ingredients in an airtight container. Store for up to 1 month in the pantry.

When ready to use, pour the instant oatmeal mixture into a serving bowl and mix with 3/4 cup boiling water. Let the oatmeal sit until the water has been absorbed, about 3 minutes.
Serve immediately.
